Day 3 Rehearsal, Stormy Weather, Cooking, Plan B, and Bubba Gump June 24, 2017 Aieee! What a busy and rainy day! We had to cut bait on the plan to do African Dancing after our morning rehearsal, because the rain was coming down sideways. Instead we had some resting and drying off time in the hotel before the New Orleans School of Cooking demo. Can you see the deluge? Making Pralines. The proper way to say it is PRAH-leens, not PRAY-leens (as they do in Savannah). Day 4 Louisiana State Museum Presbytère Barcadia, and The Chicory dinner & dance June 25, 2017 The Louisiana State Presbytère ’s two permanent exhibits tell two sides of the ongoing Louisiana story—one of celebration and one of resilience. The museum, located right next to  St. Louis Cathedral, tells the stories of  Hurricane Katrina and the history of Mardi Gras.
