Day 3 Rehearsal, Stormy Weather, Cooking, Plan B, and Bubba Gump

Aieee! What a busy and rainy day! We had to cut bait on the plan to do African Dancing after our morning rehearsal, because the rain was coming down sideways. Instead we had some resting and drying off time in the hotel before the New Orleans School of Cooking demo.

Can you see the deluge?
Making Pralines. The proper way to say it is PRAH-leens, not PRAY-leens (as they do in Savannah).

The forecast predicted more thunderstorms for the afternoon, so we opted to go to the French Market for shopping instead of the open air Zydeco Festival (French Market is covered), and we ran into some seriously talented musicians! I'm so excited our singers got to see some real N'awlins jazz on the street!

We finally ended at Bubba Gump, where our kids got to share a meal with each other and some other choir kids from the festival.
